Captains Day at Chesfield Downs on 12th July
A very successful BBQ and fundraising event took place on Captains Day at the Cricket Club. A total of £1,000.21 was raised for the captains charity, Sue Ryder St John's Hospice at Moggerhanger. A big thank you to those of you who provided raffle prizes, and of course to everyone who bought raffle tickets and took part in the auction.
A very big thank you to all the wives and partners who provided a variety of delicious salads to accompany the BBQ.
One final thank you to Graham Inwood for organising some decent weather for a change!

Guests are welcome at the society rate of £35 per society day.
The cut off time will be 9am the Friday before, after which time you will be required to pay even if you or your guests subsequently drop out - unless we can fill your place.

We emphasise the 'friendly' nature of our society but there are some basic rules and etiquette we would like all members to follow
Golfguard Insurance
Ickwell Golf Society are able to offer members Golfgard Bronze Insurance cover for the following:
- Personal Liability up to £5 million
- Accidental damage limited to £5,000
- Personal accident up to £50,000
- Hole in one bar bill up to maximum £100
- There are no excesses on any of the above
Joining dates are every 3 months from 23rd April 2024, please apply 2 weeks before each quarter date. The full annual premium of £5.50 is payable for cover up to 22nd April 2025 no matter when you join.
